xxxHollywood Forever Cemetery: The Ramones Bring Out the Freaksxxx

A SPECIAL OUTDOOR EVENT will be held in memory of Legendary Ramones Guitarist JOHNNY RAMONE on Friday August 1st at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery (6000 Santa Monica Blvd.)

A full-length Ramones concert will be screened outdoors, after dark on a 24-foot mausoleum wall (as in Hollywood Forever’s summer film program Cinespia.) The double feature concludes with the controversial 1932 cult classic FREAKS. As if that weren’t enough, you’ll also have a rare opportunity to MEET three of the world famous RAMONES LIVE & IN-PERSON. FLEA (of the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS) WILL APPEAR IN-PERSON ON AUG 1ST to introduce the concert and tell you the "naked truth" about what went on behind the scenes that rainy night in Finland over two decades ago.

Don't know which one I'm more excited about... The Ramones or Freaks. Freaks has been on my must see list for awhile now. I have Len Schrader to thank for introducing me to its existence.

Love it. We're all freaks, aren't we?
